Delivery and costs
The available delivery options and full amount are shown at checkout before you place the order. The rate depends on the destination country, the order and the selected delivery service.
- Trade Palace uses parcel delivery; envelope or letterbox shipping is not offered.
- Current delivery costs are shown in the order summary. No unapproved surcharge is added after the order is placed.
- We aim to dispatch your order in one parcel. If it does not fit, we may use multiple parcels. We inform you about separate shipments and provide available tracking details. Creating a label does not mean that PostNL has received the parcel.
- Checkout currently supports delivery addresses in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
Processing, delivery time and risk
We normally hand in-stock products to PostNL within two working days after confirmation of the order and payment. This is processing time, not delivery time. We disclose any different period, for example during a holiday, before you order. A later website notice does not change the agreement for an existing order. If no other delivery period is agreed, we deliver within 30 days of concluding the agreement.
If delivery is delayed, you may give us a reasonable additional period. If we still do not deliver, you may terminate the agreement and we refund the amount due. The risk of loss or damage remains with Trade Palace until you or a third party designated by you receives the order.
Returns and cancellations
As a consumer, you usually have a 14-day cooling-off period starting on the day after receipt. For one order delivered separately, that period starts after receipt of the last product.
To return a product or cancel an order, use the return function with your order number, postal code and house number. You do not need an account and can also use it before delivery. If you have an account, you can register a return directly from your order.
After a valid withdrawal notice, you have 14 days to send received products back. We confirm your request and provide the return address and next steps.
Start a returnRegistering and sending a return
Select the quantity you want to return for each item. You do not have to give a reason for an ordinary withdrawal; choose ‘I no longer want it / no reason’. Any reason you provide is retained alongside Trade Palace's assessment.
On receipt, we record per item what was received and accepted. An item that was not received, was damaged by you or has lost value through use can be assessed separately. This does not limit your mandatory statutory rights.
- Register the products from the relevant order and use the return number and return address provided.
- You may inspect and assess a product as you could in a shop. You are responsible for loss of value caused by handling beyond what is necessary.
- Pack the shipment carefully and include all relevant parts. Original packaging is desirable where needed to prevent damage, but is not a separate condition of the right of withdrawal.
- You may register more than one return within the period. For an ordinary withdrawal, you pay the direct cost of each separate return shipment.
Refund after withdrawal
Refunds are calculated per accepted item from the amount actually paid, including the discount allocated to that item.
We may withhold the refund until we receive the products or until you show that you sent them back, whichever occurs first.
- If you ultimately withdraw the entire order, we also refund the original standard delivery cost once. Any surcharge for a more expensive delivery choice does not have to be refunded.
- The original delivery costs are not refunded for a partial withdrawal.
- We refund without additional charge through the same payment method, unless you expressly agree to another method.
- The refund is made no later than 14 days after your withdrawal notice, subject to our right to wait for receipt or proof of return.
Defective, damaged, incomplete or incorrect delivery
Report the problem through the return function and contact tradepalacecards@gmail.com. If a defect or Trade Palace error is confirmed, we provide an appropriate solution at no cost and reimburse necessary return costs. Ordinary withdrawal and statutory guarantee rights are separate rights.
A product must meet what you may reasonably expect under the agreement. Statutory guarantee rights in the Netherlands do not have a fixed end date. Depending on the situation, you are entitled to free repair or replacement and, if that is impossible or unreasonable, a price reduction or refund.
Statutory exceptions
The right of withdrawal is excluded only where a statutory exception genuinely applies. Trade Palace does not apply an exception more broadly than the law permits.
- A broken seal excludes a return only for sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons. The ordinary seal on a TCG product is not automatically such an exception.
- Products made to your specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from the right of withdrawal.
- A damaged, defective, incomplete or incorrectly delivered product is not an ordinary return exception; your statutory conformity rights apply.
